We started I Hate Socks after our own experience with little sock haters at home.

We know what it feels like to deal with the morning battles, the complaints about seams, the socks turned inside out, and the tears over something as simple as getting dressed.

So we set out to change that.

We created socks that are seam free, heel free, and made from ultra soft bamboo, designed specifically for sensitive little feet. Socks that kids will actually want to wear.

Our goal has always been simple. To make family life just that little bit easier, one sock at a time.

WOW! I have tried SO MANY socks for my 10 year old daughter and there have been the only ones she didn't throw across the room. She actually wanted to wear them!! She likes them higher so I got the large and was excited that they actually fit me too. Thank you so much I Hate Socks!!

Never thought I’d be writing a review about socks, but these are amazing — so much so I’ve already bought more, and I don’t usually care about socks.

Sizing is really versatile. I wear a large (after feeling them I had to get some for myself too) and my 5-year-old can also wear the same pair. They’re crew length on me and longer on her, but comfortable for both.

We have S, M and L and pretty much anyone in the family can wear any size. All three kids (5, 8 and 10) can share across sizes easily.

Honestly, the only socks my kids will wear now! I have tried SO many "seamless feel" socks and they still had lumps and bumps that my kids complained about. You can tell from the moment you touch these socks that they are great quality- so soft. Will be buying more!!

My son loves them! Says 'oooh, yay!' When I put them on before school and dances out the door. Always had melt downs and such a battle getting socks on before these came along! Thank you!

Super soft easy to put on comfortable and the grandkids love them.
Best docks ever!!

He loves them, unfortunately he is very susceptible to tinea, due to sweaty and smelly feet. The cotton socks were just not working and we couldn't use synthetic. These keep his feet dry and they no longer smell and the tinea is all but gone. Highly recommend!!!!

Really awesome socks, I love mine and so does my daughter, we're both neurodivergent so socks are a big thing. I do have wider lower legs/calf's so I can definitely feel the elastic around the top of the sock which I don't like as much. Overall will definitely be buying more!

Absolute game changer. We’ve been having some feet sensory issues the last year with our 8 year old, who had a meltdown every morning with socks being too uncomfortable and him trying multiple pairs before us being able to get out the door. The first day he put these on his words were “these are GOATED” and he has worn them every day since with zero complaints.

My partner bought me 7 pairs of these socks.

It was a serious gamble.

Since childhood, I have been at war with socks. Specifically, the horrible little “knobbly bits” around the toes. I have a sensory issue with them that has persisted for a completely unreasonable 36 years.

I was so offended by toe seams as a child that I would literally cut the sides of the toes off my socks because they annoyed me that much. 😭

And yet, despite my deep hatred of socks, I wear them everywhere except the shower.

Summer? Socks.

Bed? Socks.

Roasting hot day? Socks.

Probably the apocalypse? Socks.

I have spent 36 years living in this bizarre contradiction: I absolutely despise socks, but apparently I also refuse to live without them.

Then these socks arrived.

I put them on.

And friends… I have seen the light.

NO KNOBBLY BITS.

NO ANNOYING TOE SEAMS.

NO SENSORY BETRAYAL.

For the first time in 36 years, I can wear socks without feeling like my toes are being victimised.

I am now prepared to wear these things 23.5/7 (I need a brief shower break, obviously).

Summer heat? Comfortable.

Bed? Comfortable.

Existing? Comfortable.

My partner took a gamble buying me 7 pairs and somehow won the sock lottery.

I am no longer a customer.

I am a lifetime convert.

I absolutely love these socks!

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve had a lot of trouble finding socks without seams across the toes. The seams rub against my toes when I’m wearing shoes, and after a short time, it becomes incredibly painful.

I bought these socks and wore them to work straight away. I’m an emergency nurse, so I’m on my feet for 12-hour shifts and regularly walk 15,000+ steps a day. To my amazement, these socks were absolutely incredible!

No rubbing, no pain, no raw pressure marks—and best of all, **NO SEAMS!**

They are, without a doubt, the best socks I’ve ever worn. I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough!❤️

Sorry to say I was very disappointed. There still seems to have seams. The extra padding makes it fluffy and a sensory nightmare for my kiddo as does the "x" which was unnecessary and makes extra fluff and discomfort. As an OT and mum unfortunately I would not recommend.

We’re so sorry to hear that our socks weren’t the right fit for your child. As mums and small business owners who created these socks to help children with sensory needs, receiving feedback like this genuinely breaks our hearts.

We know that every child experiences sensory input differently, so unfortunately no single product will feel comfortable for everyone. We consulted with OTs throughout the design process and spent many months developing and trialling our socks with children, which makes us especially sorry that your experience was disappointing.

We chose soft bamboo with additional cushioning because many sensory socks we had previously tried were very thin and wore through quickly. We also spent months designing and trialling the “X” to ensure it could not be felt when worn. Many of the children involved in our trials loved it because it helped them quickly find their favourite socks in the drawer. However, we completely appreciate that your child’s experience has been different.

They are so soft and the no seam is perfect for my son. He was a little funny about the x stitched into the bottom of the sock to begin with but forgot about it after a while of wearing them. Making mornings a lot smoother around here!

I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but I can’t tell you the relief. I feel to put on my autistic daughter’s socks in the morning and know that will be walking out the door shortly thereafter. The task used to come with a sense of impending dread not knowing if a meltdown would follow thanks. I hate socks. Looking forward rainbow additions 😄

Fantastic socks. No more meltdowns in the mornings.

My 6 year old son LOVES these socks. He won't wear anything else. We've tried numerous brands and these are the ones he's stuck with. They've helped meltdowns in the mornings before school, which was a big issue. They are now well worn, but still super soft and never lose shape. We wash them in a wash bag with his clothes, and have the same outcome whether they are line dried or tumble dried.
I have recommend 'I Hate Socks' to lots of people, and we will definitely be buying more!
