We didn’t start out trying to build a sock brand.

We started as two mums trying to get our kids out the door in the morning without meltdowns.

One of our sons couldn’t tolerate heel bunching. The other couldn’t stand the toe seam. And what looked like a simple part of the day, putting on socks, became a daily stress point for the whole family.

So we did what most parents eventually end up doing when nothing else works. We tried everything.

We spent a fortune on socks from different brands, even importing some from overseas. Some were better than others, but none were quite right. There was always something. A seam that still irritated. A heel that slipped. Fabric that felt soft at first but didn’t hold up in real life.

In the end, we stopped trying to find the perfect sock and started designing it ourselves.

Our socks are designed in Australia by two mums who couldn’t find anything that truly worked for sensory-sensitive kids. We focused on removing the biggest daily triggers we saw in our own homes.

We created a true flat seam design, with no bulky toe bump and no excess thread that can irritate sensitive toes. We also removed the traditional heel structure entirely, creating a heel-free fit that reduces slipping, bunching, and misalignment in shoes.

The fabric is an ultra-soft bamboo blend that is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, which means it is tested for harmful substances and designed to be gentle on sensitive skin. It is breathable, moisture-wicking, and naturally soft, which matters more than people realise when socks are being worn for 8+ hours a day at school or work.

 

We originally designed them for kids, but quickly found adults were just as sensitive to seams, texture, and fit. The flexible heel-free design means the sizing stretches across ages, which was not planned, but turned out to be one of the most loved features.

And then came the moment that mattered most. Not the launch, but the feedback afterwards.

The emails started coming in. “These are the only socks my kids will wear.” “You have helped our morning routine so much.” And the one that stuck with us most: “Where have you been all my life?”

That’s when we knew we were onto something real.

Our hope has always been simple. To create socks that bring a sense of calm to an already sensory overwhelming world.
